In broad terms, the treatment proceeds as follows:<\/p>\n The surrounding teeth are shaped slightly to create room for the bridge. This is done under anaesthetic, so it is painless.<\/p>\n Next, a bite impression is taken. Based on this impression, the dental laboratory will make the bridge.<\/p>\n During the third step of the treatment, you determine the colour of the bridge together with the dentist. This way we match the natural colour of your teeth, so that the bridge will later be indistinguishable from the real thing.<\/p>\n To protect the open space, the dentist places a temporary solution in your mouth. This temporary bridge is fixed in place and already gives you an idea of what the final bridge will look like.
